Where should I gamble? What casinos are safe?
There
are thousands of online casinos and it can be very tough to figure out which
ones are reputable. There are also a lot of online gambling "watchdog" sites.
Again, it's tough to know which ones are legitimate. Before I play at a casino,
I always do a google search to find out if there's any news on that casino, good
or bad. I also check out their web site to see how long they've been around and
if they have easy access to customer support, i.e., live phone support. The best
way I've found is to find others who have played at that casino and learn about
their experiences. (Which is why this site was created!) However, your experiences
may vary.
How do you know whether a casino's software is truly fair?
Most of the established casino software companies such as Microgaming, Boss Media, Playtech, etc. have been independently judged to be fair. There are numerous mathematicians who have verified the randomness of these programs. Also, most casinos hire independent auditors to verify their payout percentages. While it is possible for a casino to cheat, it is the same as the real world where the house edge and bad playing give the casinos such an advantage that they don't have to tilt the wheel in their favor. That being said, I am sure there are cheaters out there so beware. Like anything else in life, if you don't feel good about it, walk away.
Do you have a favorite casino?
Yes but it changes periodically.
Can you review a casino for me?
If you like, you can send us suggestions on casinos to review. We will try to get it done as soon as possible.
I had a terrible experience with casino, what should I do?
We suggest dealing with the casino directly. If that doesn't work, there are a number of player advocate groups out there who you could contact. They might or might not be able to help you. You should also post your experiences in our Casino Hell section or email us.
I had a great experience with a Casino, can I tell you about it?
Congrats! Great experiences make online gambling more fun. If you want, email us and we'll put the casino in our review queue. Also, you can post your experience to the Casino Heaven section.
Do advertisers get better reviews?
There is a distinct separation of editorial from advertising. The casinos that advertise on our site do not get any special treatment from our editors. In addition, whether a casino is an advertiser on our site has no bearing on whether the are chosen for review. We will try to review all of our advertisers but we cannot guarantee that all of our advertisers have been personally played by our editors.
How do I know whether the casinos who advertise on your site are good?
We accept advertisements from any casino, as long as we know them not to be unreputable. We make no guarantees about the casinos that advertise on our site.
Do you notify casinos before hand that you are doing a review on them?
Absolutely not! We prefer that our experiences are anonymous and that the casinos
treat us like "average Joes".
How can I write reviews for your site?
If you would like to be a contributor, please
email us and tell us more about yourself.
There is a stringent selection process for
our writers because we want to maintain
the integrity of our reviews.
