Privilege Casino review

Avoid

I'm not sure exactly what the privilege of playing at this casino is, unless it's wasting a lot of time. Privilege Casino is so slow, you could fly to vegas and back by the time your next card is dealt. I didn't realize you could run Boss Media casino software on a Commodore 64, but that's about the class of hardware if you were to gauge it from the responsiveness of the games.

The Basics

URL: www.privilegecasino.com
Software: Boss Media
Software Type: PC Download
Accepted Deposit Methods: credit card, debit card, cheque, bank transfer, Neteller, Firepay.
Payment Services: WebDollar
Customer Service: Email / Toll Free phone

The Bonus

Bonus Amount: 20% signup bonus up to $100.
Bonus Wager Requirements: Must wager 20x the bonus. You cannot play Roulette, Pai Gow, Craps or Baccarat before you've met your wagering requirements or any wins are forfeited. Ouch. Most casinos will just say your wagers in these games don't count toward your requirement; Privilege Casino won't even let you play those game.

I deposited $100 and received my $20 bonus instantly.

Privilege also has a comp program but I am never able to load it from the software. Every time I click on launch Comp Program, the software hangs.

The Games

Privilege Casino doesn't have much in terms of games. It's quite amusing that in the bonus wagering requirements it states you can't play Pai Gow or Craps before you meet the requirement. Another reason might be that the casino doesn't actually have Pai Gow or Craps.

In the interest of meeting my requirement, I slogged through many, many hands of blackjack ($5 Min) and many, many hands of Video Poker ($0.25/$0.50/$1/$5). The video poker has a pay table with 5,000 coins for Royal Flush but only 100 for Four of a Kind and 35 for Full House. As I've stated in other reviews, this is hardly optimal and I much prefer the Jacks of Better "Full Pay" table.

The blackjack play was almost unbearable. I am not a patient person so the slow play was completely maddening. I actually brought out a stop watch and timed it. Between the time I clicked on "Hit", it took an average of 4 seconds to get my card. It doesn't seem like 4 seconds is a long time but imagine a dealer in Vegas counting off 1 mississippi, 2 mississippi, 3 mississippi, 4 mississippi before giving you your next card. You'd reach across the table and hit him!

The gameplay was just painful and I was happy enough to withdraw my money even though I lost half of it. (And yes, I have a very fast connection.)

The Withdrawal

WebDollar has a process where they send you a security code in the mail. In order to deposit or withdraw more than $500 cumulative, you have to enter the security code in the cashier. My withdrawal was a paltry $75 so I didn't have to worry about it. Still, I want to report that the security code came in the mail within 4 business days.

The withdrawal process was the best part of my experience. My money was credited to my neteller account within 2 business days. This is excellent.

Customer Service

I emailed Customer Service once to ask a few general questions. They replied within 30 minutes. I think this is very good.

Final Thoughts

The customer service and the transaction processing is fine. The problem is their servers which are extremely slow. I guess if you had to pick, you'd rather have fast transactions and slow play than fast play and slow transactions. But, in order for me to recommend a casino, they have to have both. Sorry Privilege Casino. Let me know when you get new servers.
