Reef Club Casino review

Recommended

Reef Club Casino is the sister casino to Casino-On-Net, one of the oldest and most popular online casinos. The only difference I can tell between the two is the marine motif. The big draw of both these casinos is that they are very reputable and you feel very comfortable that you will get paid. But what about customer service and the cash-in process?

The Basics

Payout %: 97.6%

The Bonus

Bonus Amount: 20% up to $200
Bonus Wager Requirements: Must wager 5x the deposit. So depositing $100 and getting a $20 bonus would mean $500 of wagering. Roulette and Craps are not counted towards the requirement.

Certainly, Reef Club Casino has the most deposit methods in the whole industry. I stick to my trust Neteller account and deposit $100. My bonus of $20 was credited instantly. The best part of this bonus is none of this wager 20x the bonus and deposit nonsense. Reef Club just wants to make sure you play a decent amount of games before cashing out.

The Games

Reef Club Casino is never going to win the Most Games Offered Award but the ones they do have are fast and the graphics are clean.

I start with Blackjack. When you sit down, you choose your choice of table types with either a $1, $5, or $10 minimum. Each of these minimums has an associated maximum. Since I'm no high roller, I never pay attention to these maximums. (If you are a high roller and this does matter to you, then, first, you should be Vegas, and second, how about throwing a few hundred my way?) The BJ game here is pretty standard: dealer stays on all 17s, double down on any two cards, can double down after a split. My session however was (I think) atypical in that the dealer got 21 (not Blackjack, drawing to 21) 13 out of 50 times. That's almost unbelievable. Talk about bad luck. I quickly move on to Video Poker.

Reef Club's Video Poker is my least favorite of any casino. They only offer ONE version. $1 Jacks of Better "Full Pay". If you want to play for lower stakes, you're out of luck. After a few rounds, I'm still even so I check out Pai Gow Poker. Reef Club offers "House Way" in Pai Gow, which means they'll arrange your hands according to how the house would do it. 95 out of 100 times, it's exactly how you would do it, but sometimes, I don't want to play the house way. It's just a hunch, and unlike Blackjack, I think you have to play your hunches in Pai Gow. In any case, the House Way button automatically plays the hands -- I prefer online casinos that allow you to decide whether you want to play it the house way. In any case, Pai Gow Poker is a streaky game and I'm down $40 after 10 hands.

Finally, I check out the Slots. Reef Club has two slots: regular and progessive and each comes in a 25 cent or dollar variety. That's it. No cool video bonus slots, no multi-line slots. Just 3 coins, one line. They have more choices at In-N-Out burger. I got bored very quickly and moved back to Blackjack. Once I got my $40 back from Pai Gow, I call it a day and hit the cashier.

(For the record, they also have Carribean Poker, Craps, Roulette and Baccarat. A whopping total of 8 games.)

The Withdrawl

Reef Club Casino has two member types, the regular folks and the "Black Pearl" members. Regular folks get their cashouts held for 5 days; Black Pearl members get their cashouts held for 2 days. Add in a day for processing and then potentially more time depending on the payout method and you have a long withdrawal process. My cashout via Neteller took exactly 7 calendar days. Not great but reasonable enough.

Customer Service

I contacted customer service by email once to find out if I had met my wagering requirements. They responded with an actual answer within 30 minutes. The second time, I called them up to ask some general question about the casino. The service rep was very friendly and answered my question promptly. What Reef Club Casino is missing in game variety, they make up for in customer service.

Final Thoughts

If you primarily play Blackjack, Roulette, Pai Gow, Stud, or Craps, then Reef Club Casino is the place for you. If you're looking for lots of slot machines and a variety of video poker, then look elsewhere. Overall, Cassava Enterprise (which runs both Casino-On-Net and Reef Club) is very well respected and you should feel confident in playing with them. Their withdrawal process takes longer than I'd like but you get good customer service and a solid reputation.
